High Seas (Ships & the Sea)

The High Seas content opens up the water: buy a ship, sail the coasts and deep ocean, fish for far more than the shallows offer, fire cannons at enemy ships and sea monsters, and hunt the great sea bosses. It’s a whole second world layered over Britannia’s oceans.

Ships

You place a ship from a ship deed onto open water. The classic boats are joined by full galleons (BaseGalleon) in several styles:

  • Rowboat — the small starter craft.
  • Britannian, Gargish, Orcish, and Tokuno galleons — large multi-deck ships with a hold, cannons, and a pilot, each with its own look.

You steer from the ship’s wheel / tiller (or order the galleon pilot), and use a mooring line to dock. Ship runes and ship tracking help you mark and find your vessel, and a dock master handles ships in port. Galleons can be painted and carry a hold (GalleonHold) for cargo.

Deep-sea fishing

Out past the shallows, fishing (Fishing skill) yields the good stuff: big fish, special catches, message-in-a-bottle treasure maps, and crafting fish — using a fishing pole, bait, and nets. Sea charts and the right gear turn fishing from a downtime hobby into a real income loop.

Cannons and ship combat

Galleons mount cannons (Cannon) loaded with cannonballs and powder (built from cannon deeds). You can fire on:

  • Other ships in open-PvP waters, and
  • Sea monsters that attack your vessel.

Crewing the cannons during a sea fight is the naval side of combat — aim, load, and broadside.

Sea bosses

The ocean has its own roster of bosses worth sailing for:

  • Charybdis — a colossal sea horror summoned with a fishing-related lure.
  • Corgul the Soulbinder — boss of a remote ocean island.
  • Osiredon the Scalis Enforcer — a deep-sea peerless-class threat.

These reward nautical-themed loot and are a step up from anything you’ll snag on a fishing line.
